The receiver can either be mounted on the accessory shoe of the camera or on the supplied bracket when mounting a a flsh unit on the accessory shoe
Mounting on the Accessory Shoe
- Rotate the mount plate on the receiver so that its white plane points towards the rear of the camera and slide it into the accessory shot
- Turn the lock nut in the direction of the arrow to lock the receiver in place
- Remove the remote socket cover on the camera by turning it counterclockwise
- Align the receiver's connecting plug with the remote socket and push the lug into the socket until it locks securely into position. Press the plug firmly into the socket by pressing the black area at the back of the plug. If the plug is inserted by holding the silver area, the plug may not lock into position and the remote control will not work correctly. Grasp the silver-colored part of the plug when pulling the plug out.
Mounting on the Bracket
- Place the large mount groove of the bracket over the tripod's attachment screw and mount the camera on the tripod
- Slide the mount plate of the receiver into the small mount groove and turn the lock nut in the direction of the arrow to lock the receiver in place look in the viewfinder and adjust the bracket and the receiver's position so that they are out of the picture area
- Align the receiver's connecting plug with the remote socket and push the lug into the socket until it locks securely in position
