1. Open the battery cover

2) Load a new battery - Align the positive(+) and negative (-) terminals correctly and insert the battery negative end first.

3) close the battery cover - Push the cover closed until you hear a clicking sound.

The camera will not operate if the terminals are aligned incorrectly.
