Description

A1 : How to set and use the Aperture Priority AE Mode.

Solution

Using the AE Mode Selector switch, you can select either Shutter-priority or Aperture-priority mode.

With the AE Mode Selector set to AV mode the camera is now set so you can select a aperture value and the camera will select the appropriate shutter speed

In order to select a specific aperture value, the AT Dial Guard must be slid down, allowing you to rotate the dial to select different shutter speeds.

The aperture values available will vary according to the specific lens that you have mounted.
