ROM Flash Procedure MF 4270 Series

Supported OS for firmware update: Windows 2000, Windows XP*, Windows 2003 Server*, and Windows Vista*.

*32 bit only.

1. Set the machine to update Firmware.

  • Press [Additional Functions]
  • Press [+] or [-] to select <System Settings>, then press [OK].
  • Press [+] or [-] to select <Update Firmware>, then press [OK].

2. Double-click the User Support Tool to launch the update.

3. Follow the on screen instructions to update the firmware.
