Description

This article explains how to disable IPv6 on the PIXMA MG7520.

Solution

If your PIXMA MG7520 is connected to a network but does not have an IPv4 address, disabling the IPv6 functionality on the printer may help resolve this issue.  To disable IPv6, follow the steps below.
  1. From the HOME screen, swipe over from left to right and tap Setup.

  2. Tap Device settings.

  3. Tap LAN settings.

  4. Tap Other settings.

  5. Tap TCP/IP settings.

  6. Tap IPv6.

  7. A message will appear on the screen.  Tap Yes.

  8. Tap Enable/disable IPv6.

  9. IPv6 is enabled by default.  Tap Disable.

  10. The printer will process for a few moments.

When the printer has finished processing, IPv6 will be disabled.

After you have disabled IPv6, press the HOMEsymbol on the operation panel to return to the HOME screen.
