You can fine-tune the focus after autofocusing by turning the continuous ring. IMPORTANT - The following section explains the setting procedures when the cameras shooting mode has been set to [Program AE] ().
For a list of shooting modes in which AF+MF cannot be set, please refer to the table at the end of the page. Step 1: Making the Settings 1. Press the power button to turn the camera on. 2. Press the [MENU] button. 3. Move the zoom lever to choose the [ ] tab. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [ ]. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [AF+MF], and then press the [ ] button. 4.Press the [ ], [ ] buttons to choose [On], and then press the [ ] button. 5. Press the [MENU] button to return to the previous screen. Step 2: Focusing and Shooting 6. Press the shutter button halfway to focus on the subject, and continue holding the button halfway down. 7.Turn the [ ] ring. Referring to the onscreen MF indicator bar (which shows the distance and focal position) and the magnified display area, turn the [ ] ring to adjust the focus. NOTE - To enlarge or reduce the magnified display, press the [DISP.] button.
- To cancel focusing, release the shutter button.
