EF-M lenses can be used on the EOS M.

 

 

EF lenses can also be used by attaching the Mount Adapter EF-EOS M.

 

 

Lenses that can be used on the EOS M Canon EF lenses (including EF-S lenses and EF-M lenses)*
Lenses that cannot be used on the EOS M Canon FD lenses, New FD lenses
* To use EF lenses and EF-S lenses, the Mount Adapter EF-EOS M is required.
