When the solar panel is placed in a well-lit environment, the illumination display bar lights up fully and the charging time is reduced. While pressing the illumination / battery check button, find a well-lit location where the illumination display bar is preferably fully lit.

The illumination display appears on the LCD panel.

• Keep the illumination / battery check button pressed until displays appear. However, the illumination display will not appear if the light level is insufficient

Charge the camera

• Place the camera with the solar panel facing upwards
