Not all applications support all of the functions used to create a scanned image and the image may appear differently in some applications.

Solution

Not all applications support all of the functions used to create a scanned image and the image may appear differently in some applications.

Some applications may not support functions such as auto-detection of the paper size. Scanning documents with an applicaiton such as this will result in abnormal scanned image.

Try scanning with auto-detection of the paper size set to "off".
