How do I set scanner settings using the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool on my DR-G2xx0 series scanners?

Description

Some User Mode menu items can also be set with the scanner driver. Whether you make settings with the scanner or with the scanner driver can be changed using the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool.

Solution


A USB connection is required to make changes with the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool. You cannot make changes using a wired LAN,

 

  1. Open the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool.
     
  2. On the [Control] tab, click the [Setting] button for [Hardware].
    The Hardware Settings dialog box opens.

     
  3. Change the setting method on the [Settings change method] tab.
    The menu item names in the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool and those in the scanner correspond as follows.
     
    • To make the setting changes with the scanner, select [on Scanner panel].
    • To make the setting changes with the scanner driver, select [on PC].

  4. Click the [OK] button to close the settings screen.
