You can use the operation panel of the MAXIFY GX5020 to start a simplified process to connect the printer to your wireless network. Follow these steps to walk through this process.

Make sure the printer is powered on before starting wireless connection setup.
If the power is on, the ON lamp (A) will be lit or flashing.
If the printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes, wait for the process to finish before starting setup.

If the screen the below appears, press the Stop button (B).
If the following screen is not displayed, proceed to the next step.

Press the Setup button (C).

Use the or buttons (D) to select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.

Select WPS (Push button) and press the OK button.

Press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router.

When the screen below appears, press the OK button.

Press the Setup button.
The network connection setup is now complete.
When connection is complete, appears on screen.
If the printer will be used with a Windows PC, the installer for the printer can be found here.
If the printer will be used with a Mac™, the installer for the printer can be found here.
If the printer will be used with an iOS™ or iPadOS™ device, you will be able to print documents via AirPrint. You can also use the Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY app if desired.

If the printer will be used with an Android™ device, you will need to download Canon Print Service to print documents. You can also use the Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY app if desired.

When using this printer with a mobile device, you will not need to walk through the initial wireless setup if the printer is already connected to your wireless network.
