P, x, and x (x=numeric character) alternately display on MG3120 / MG3122

Description

When "P" and numeric characters alternately display on the LED while the power lamp and the error lamp of the main unit alternately flash, a printer problem may have occurred.

 

Solution

When "P" and numeric characters (error code) are alternately displayed on LED while the power lamp and the error lamp of the main unit alternately blink, a printer problem may occur with the printer.

(e.g.) The LED display when the error occurs: P, 0, and 3 are alternately displayed



< Solution >

Turn OFF the printer, and unplug the power cord. Then, turn ON the printer again.

P22, P26, P27, P28, P09, P06, P08


If the error continues to occur, the printer will require servicing.
