Description

Learn how to use Wireless Direct with your PIXMA TS3320, which allows you to print and scan directly to your printer without the use of a wireless router.

 

Solution

Follow the procedures below to use Wireless Direct.

 You can connect up to 5 devices to the printer at the same time.
 

Enable Wireless Direct on the printer

  1. Turned on the printer.

  2. Press the Direct button. The Direct Wireles icon appears on the LCD.

  3. Wireless Direct is enabled and a device can be connected to the printer wirelessly.

 To check the printer's MAC address and the current Wireless Direct settings, print out the network settings information.
 

Prepare the device to connect to the printer

  1. Enable Wi-Fi on your device's settings menu.

 For more information on Wi-Fi functions, refer to your device's instruction manual.

  1. Select XXXXXX-TS3300series, where X represents alphanumeric characters, from list displayed on your device.

     If XXXXXX-TS3300series does not appear on the list, Wireless Direct is not enabled.

  2. Enter the password. Your device is now connected to the printer.

     You can check the password via the network settings printout.

  • Based on the your device, the specified password for the printer is required and must be entered to complete the connection.

  • Your security settings will determine if you may or may not need to enter a password.
     

Print and scan with Wireless Direct.

  1. After the device and the printer are connect, you can print or scan from the app that supports in on your device.

  2. For more information on how to print or scan from your device via Wi-Fi, please refer to the device's or application's instruction manual.

  3. You can also print or scan from your smartphone or tablet via the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
