*2 The following sizes are available:
- Multi-purpose tray: width 3.00 to 8.50 in. (76.2 to 216.0 mm) x length 7.36 to 14.02 in. (187.0 to 356.0 mm)
- Manual feed slot: width 3.00 to 8.50 in. (76.2 to 216.0 mm) x length 5.00 to 14.02 in. (127.0 to 356.0 mm)
Machine Settings for Paper Types
Before printing, refer to the table below and make the appropriate paper settings in the printer driver, according to the type of paper that you have loaded.

*1 Recycled paper can be used.
*2 If paper becomes curled when [Plain] is selected, select this instead.
*3 If you select [Plain] when using paper with a coarse surface (16.0 to 23.9 lb Bond [60 to 90 g/]), there is a possibility that paper jams may occur or that toner may not be fully fixed and printouts may be faded. In that case, select this instead.
*4 If you select [Heavy] when using paper with a coarse surface (24.0 lb Bond to 60.3 lb Cover [91 to 163 g/]), there is a possibility that paper jams may occur or that toner may not be fully fixed and printouts may be faded. In that case, select this instead.
*5 If cloth becomes dirty from toner, select this instead.
*6 Use laser printer transparencies.
*7 Use A4 or Letter size only.
IMPORTANT
Do not use the following types of paper:
- Wrinkled or creased paper
- Curled or rolled paper
- Torn paper
- Damp paper
- Very thin paper
- Paper with a coarse texture
- Glossy paper
- Paper that was used on a copier or other printer (do not use its blank side, either)
Printable Range
The printable range is indicated in gray. Envelopes require a 0.39 in. (10 mm) margin on the top, bottom, left, and right.
