Uninstall Previous MultiPASS Suite Version

The provided steps should be used for the following reasons:

• Unable to uninstall the MultiPASS Suite (or MP Drivers); or a 'Fatal Error' appears; or the uninstall process fails to complete.
• Unable to uninstall the MultiPASS Suite (or MP Drivers) to reinstall the same version.
• Unable to reinstall the MultiPASS Suite because it detects the software is still installed.
• Unable to uninstall the MultiPASS Suite (or MP Drivers) to install a later version.

It is recommended to uninstall the MultiPASS Suite via 'Add or Remove Programs' (Windows XP) or 'Add/Remove Programs' (Windows 95, 98, Me or 2000). If the above symptoms occur, then it is likely that the software is not getting completely uninstalled. Follow these steps to get the previous MultiPASS software successfully uninstalled.

1. Search for and delete the previous MultiPASS software's uninstall information key from the Registry.
   
   
2. Reinstall the previous MultiPASS software version using the original CD (if available)
   
   
3. Run the uninstall for that MultiPASS software
   
   
4. Confirm that the uninstall key was removed successfully.
   
   
5. Then install the MultiPASS Suite for the currently MultiPASS being used.
   
   

Note:The MultiPASS Uninstaller should remove the uninstall key. To verify and delete if necessary, follow these steps.

1. From the Windows desktop, click 'Start' and then 'Run'.
   
   
2. In the Run dialog box, type regedit and then click 'OK'.
   
   
3. Back up the registry.
   
   
4. After the registry has been backed up, drill down to the MultiPASS software uninstall key in the following folders.
   
   +--1--HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
   ___+--1--SOFTWARE
   ______+--1--Microsoft
   _________+--1--Windows
   ____________+--1--CurrentVersion
   _______________+--1--Uninstall
   _
   
   
5. Locate the appropriate MultiPASS Suite uninstall key.

6. Highlight the key and press <Delete>.
   
   
7. Restart the computer and attempt to reinstall the MultiPASS Suite.
