Removing the battery pack from a VIXIA HF S10, HF S11 or HF S100 camcorder

Solution

  1. Turn off the camcorder.



  2. Open the LCD panel 90 degrees.



  3. Slide <BATTERY RELEASE> in the direction of the arrow and hold it pressed down.
    - Slide the battery pack down and then pull it out.



To prevent the battery pack from dropping due to faulty operation, it is firmly fixed to the camcorder. When removing the battery pack, slide the <BATTERY RELEASE> switch and hold it firmly in the direction indicated by the arrow.
