Solution
This is the LCD Menu while in FAX mode.
- Press the <FAX> button.
- Press the <Menu> button repeatedly to scroll through the FAX mode menu (FAX SETTINGS, DEVICE SETTINGS, MAINTENANCE).
- Use the right/left cursor button to select one of the major settings, then press the <OK> button.
- Use the right/left cursor button to select the appropriate option, then press the <OK> button.

| RECEIVE MODE SET | DRPD | When you have subscribed to a DRPD or voice mail service through your telephone company. | The machine will answer according to the ring pattern you have chosen and receive the fax automatically. | FAX PRIORITY MODE | When you are using a single telephone line for faxes and voice calls and want to receive faxes automatically: | The machine does not ring but will receive the fax automatically. Voice call: The machine will ring. Pick up the handset, then press the Stop/Reset button to answer the call. Note: If you press the Stop/Reset button before picking up the handset, the telephone call will be disconnected. Memo: The following settings can be modified to control how the machine handles incoming calls. Specify the FAX PRIORITY MODE settings in RX SETTINGS under FAX SETTINGS. - [ RING START TIME ] : The time the machine takes to determine whether a call is a fax or a voice call. - [ TEL RING TIME ] : The time the machine rings when the call was a voice call. - [ DEFAULT ACTION ] : Whether or not the machine receives the fax after the specified ring time has elapsed. |

| TEL PRIORITY MODE | When you are using a single telephone line for faxes and voice calls / voice messages. To use the machine for faxes and voice messages, the answering machine must be connected to the fax. |
The telephone will ring. If you pick up the handset when receiving a fax, press the FAX button, then press the Color or Black button. When the answering machine receives the fax automatically. Voice call : The telephone will ring. Pick up the handset to answer the call. When the answering machine responds to the call. |

| MEMORY REFERENCE | PRINT MEMORY LIST | Lists the documents currently stored in the machine's memory. | If there are no documents stored in memory, [NO DOC. IN MEMORY] is displayed, and the machine returns to the previous screen. |

| COLOR TX | Color documents can be faxed from the ADF and the platen glass. When faxing color documents using the ADF, this function selects whether to perform automatic black & white conversion if the recipient fax machine does not support color faxing. However, when sending color documents from the platen glass or the ADF without Color TX, these documents will not be sent even in black & white if the recipient fax machine does not support color faxing; TRY AGAIN IN B&W will be displayed on the machine LCD. | ||
| TX REPORT | Sets whether to print a transmission report after each transmission. If you select PRINT ERROR ONLY or PRNT FOR EACH TX as TX REPORT, enables/disables printing the first page of the fax under the report. | ||
| DIAL TONE DETECT | Sets whether to send faxes after detecting the dial tone. Select ON to enable this feature and avoid transmission errors caused when a fax transmission coincides with reception of an incoming call. | ||
