Solution
Shorten the Printer's Name
Easy-WebPrint will not recognize a printer with a name longer than 30 characters (not including spaces).
Follow the instructions below to rename the printer:
- Close Internet Explorer.
- Open the Printers folder.
- For Windows XP select 'Start', 'Control Panel', 'Printers and Other Hardware', and 'Printers and Faxes'.
- For Windows versions other than Windows XP select 'Start', 'Settings', and 'Printers'.
- Right-click your printer's icon and select 'Rename' from the menu that appears.
- Type in a new name for your printer that is less than 31 characters (not including spaces).
- Press the <Enter> key on the keyboard. Easy-WebPrint will now recognize the printer.
