Duplex Printing

NOTES:

  • Only use plain paper for duplex rinting.
  • This setting is not possible with either of the following selected as the 'Printing Type':
    * Poster Printing
    * Booklet Printing
  • Windows 98/Me: This setting is not possible if Background Printing is not active.
  1. Select the command you use to perform printing from the program you are using. (In general, select 'Print' on the File menu to open the Print dialog box.)

  2. Select your model name and click 'Preferences' (or 'Properties'). The printer driver setup window appears.

  3. In the Main tab, in 'Media Type', select the paper type.

  4. Click the 'Page Setup' tab.

  5. In Printing Type, select 'Normal-size Printing', 'Fit-to-Page Printing', 'Scale Printing', or 'Paper Layout Printing'.

  6. Select 'Duplex Printing'.




  7. Select the binding direction in Staple Side.

    * Long-side stapling (Left)
    * Long-side stapling (Right)
    * Short-side stapling (Top)
    * Short-side stapling (Bottom)

  8. In the Printer Properties or Printing Preferences dialog box, click 'OK'.



  9. Settings for duplex printing are completed.
