If the image is dark, set a higher [Brightness] setting, or if the image is faint, set a lower [Brightness] setting.

1. Open CapturePerfect 3.0.
   
   
   
2. On the [Scan] menu, select [Scanner Setting].
   
   The property dialog box for the driver opens.
   
   
   
3. Select the [Brightness] tab sheet.
   
   
   
4. If the images are too dark or if text on the back bleeds through, drag the brightness slider to the right to increase the brightness setting.
   
   or
   
   If the images are too light, drag the brightness slider to the left to decrease the setting.
