Turn off Remote RX on the MX860

Solution

Turn Off Remote RX

If the fax continues to interrupt telephone conversations after the Remote RX ID number was changed, turn off Remote RX. The default setting from the factory is ON. See the folloing steps to turn off Remote RX.

  1. Press the <FAX> button, then press the <Menu> button.

  2. Press the or button to select Settings, then press the OK button.

    The Settings screen is displayed.

  1. Press the or button to select [Device settings], then press the <OK> button.



  1. Turn off Remote RX.

  1. Press the or button to select [FAX settings], then press the <OK> button.


  2. Press the or button to select [Reception settings], then press the <OK> button.

  3. Press the or button to to select <Remote RX>, then press the <OK> button.

  4. Press the or button to to select [OFF], then press the <OK> button.

  1. Press the <Fax> button to return to Fax standby mode.
