Set a higher [Brightness] setting. If the paper is too thin, make a copy of the documents and then scan the copy.

1. Open CapturePerfect 3.0.
   
   
   
2. On the [Scan] menu, select [Scanner Setting].
   
   The property dialog box for the driver opens.
   
   
   
3. Select the [Brightness] tab sheet.
   
   
   
4. Drag the brightness slider to the right to increase the brightness setting.

Alternatively, enable the [Prevent bleed through/remove background] setting.

   The property dialog box for the driver opens.
   
   
   
3. Select the [Image processing] tab sheet.
   
   
   
4. Select [Prevent Bleed Through / Remove Background] check box.
   When the check box is selected, the [Setting] button will be available.
