Uninstall / Reinstall MP Navigator
If you do not need the MP Navigator any longer, or if not installed correctly
or installing a new version, uninstall it.
When uninstalling the software, you must log on as Administrator or have Administrator privileges. To uninstall software in Mac OS X, you must log on as an administrator.
The following information is provided as a general outline. For detailed instructions, please see your documentation.
Windows
- Close any open software applications, including the MP Navigator
and virus checkers.
To close the MP Navigator , click on the [x] at the top right
of the screen or [Close] at the bottom right. When the confirmation message
displays, click 'OK'.
- Click 'Start' on the taskbar, point to (All) Programs, 'Canon Utilities', and MP Navigator folder, then click 'MP Navigator Uninstall'.
- At the confirmation dialog box, click 'OK' to remove the components.
- Click 'Finish'.
- After the software has been removed, reinstall MP Navigator .
If you have the Setup CD-ROM, select Custom Install to install
only MP Navigator . Or, download
the latest software from our web site.
- Close any open software applications, including the MP Navigator
and virus checkers.
To close the MP Navigator , click on the [x] at the top
left of the screen or 'Close' at the bottom right.
- Double-click the hard disk icon where MP Navigator was
installed, double-click the 'Applications' folder, and put the MP
Navigator icon into Trash. Be sure to move any MP Navigator aliases
or shortcuts to the trash as well.
- Restart your computer.
- After the software has been removed, reinstall MP Navigator .
If you have the Setup CD-ROM, select Custom Install to install
only MP Navigator if applicable to your OS version. Or, download
the newest version of the software from our web site.
