Unlocking the Scanning Unit (5600F)

The scanner lock switch is located on the top of the scanner underneath the scanner lid near the hinges.

To unlock the scanning unit, move the lock switch towards the unlock mark.
Important: To be sure the scanner has been successfully unlocked, cycle the lock switch back and forth and leave it in the unlocked position.
Note: If you must move or transport you scanner to another location, be sure to move the lock switch back to the locked position prior to moving.
