Procedure for formatting the memory card PowerShot S30 and S40
Solution
- Open the lens cover to power the camera on.
- Press the <MENU> button.
- Press left or right on the 4 way controller to select the settings (
) menu then press <SET>.
- Press up or down on the 4 way controller to select the [Format] option and press <SET>.
- Press left or right on the 4 way controller to select [OK] and press <SET>.
- [BUSY] will display on the LCD while formatting is in process. Once completed the display will revert to the [Format] menu.
- Press the <MENU> button to close the menu.
