Print and scan wirelessly from any Wi-Fi® enabled computer, tablet, phone, etc. from your local network connection. Wireless printing requires a working network with wireless 802.11b/g/n capability. You will need a Wi-Fi enabled device (computer, tablet, phone, etc. ), a wireless router and a wireless printer. All three devices must be connected to the same wireless network connection. Click on the specific topic below to get detailed information.

Wireless Setup

If you have a Chromebook, you will need to use one of the setup methods above to connect the printer to your wireless network.  If you don't have a Windows PC, a Mac, or a mobile device available, you can connect the printer to your network using the WPS Push Button method or the WPS PIN Code methodPlease refer to your router's documentation to see if your router has a WPS Push Button or for information on entering a WPS PIN Code.

If your printer is not detected during setup, make sure that the computer (Windows or Mac) or mobile device is connected to the correct network. Also, you may need to temporarily disable any firewall software, or you may need to open blocked ports in the firewall. If your computer is connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network), temporarily disconnect from the VPN and try the setup again.
