Change the paper type (Windows)

Follow the instructions below to change the paper type in Windows:

1. Open the Printers Folder.
   
   
2. Right click on icon for your printer, and then click 'Properties' on the menu that appears.
   
   
   Note: In Windows 2000/XP, select 'Printing Preferences' instead of 'Properties' from the menu, or click 'Printing Preferences' from the General tab at the bottom of the Properties window once it opens.
   
   
   
   
3. In the Main tab, select the desired paper type in the Media Type section, using the pull-down menu.
   
   
   
   Available media types may vary by model.
   
   
4. Click 'OK' to set the new paper type.

1. Click 'Start'
   
2. Click 'Settings'.
   
3. Select 'Printers'.
