Description
Connect the answering machine to the extension port on the fax.
Solution
Connect the telephone line cord to the appropriate port on the device.
The telephone line cord must be connected correctly for the device to function properly.
- Connect a line cord from the telephone wall jack to the [L] jack on the device. The [L] jack is indicated in the magnified view by the red arrow.
- Connect a line cord from the extension telephone port on the device to an external telephone, answering machine or computer modem. The extension telephone port is indicated in the maginified view by the blue arrow.
