Solution

Canceling Auto Redial

Automatic redial cannot be canceled with the Stop/Reset button while the machine is waiting to redial. You can either wait until your machine begins redialing and then follow the procedure below, or if you want to cancel while your machine is waiting to redial, delete the document from memory.

Follow this procedure to cancel auto redial.

  1. Wait until your machine begins to redial.

  2. Press <Stop/Reset>.

  3. When prompted to cancel auto redial, press the up arrow to select [YES] and then press <OK>.
    • Redialing is not canceled until you select [YES].
    • If you change your mind and want to continue redialing, press the down arrow to select [NO] and then press <OK>.
    • If the machine is set to an ERROR TX REPORT, one will be printed.

Deleting a Document in Memory

  1. Press <FAX>, then press <Menu>.

  2. Press the left or right arrow to select [Memory reference].

  3. Press <OK>.

  4. Press the left or right arrow to select [DELETE DOCUMENT].

  5. Press <OK>.

  6. Press the up or down arrow to select [Delete specified doc.] and then press <OK>.

  7. Press the up, down, left or right arrow to select the transaction number (TX/RX no.) of the document you want to delete, or enter the number using the numeric buttons.

  8. Press <OK>.

  9. Press the up or down arrow select [YES] to delete the document, or press the right arrow to select [NO] and not delete the document.

  10. Press <OK>.

  11. To delete another document, return to step 7, or to finish deleting, press [Stop/Reset].

After canceling auto redial, confirm the fax number and then attempt to send another fax.
