Registering the Paper Size
This printer's paper cassette cannot automatically detect the paper size. Therefore, you need to register the size of the loaded paper.
Register the paper size using the following procedure.
NOTE
When registering a paper size
As you cannot register paper size while printing is in progress, make sure that the printer is idle before registering the paper size. You can register paper size only while one of the following messages is displayed.
- <Specified Paper Different from Set Paper>
- <Out of Paper>
1. Click [ 
] in the Windows taskbar, and then select the printer name.
2. From the [Options] menu, select [Device Settings] m² [Cassette Settings].
3. Register the paper size.
(1) Select the size of the paper loaded in the paper cassette.
- Cassette 1: The paper cassette supplied with the printer unit
- Cassette 2: The paper cassette of the optional paper feeder
(2) Click [OK].
