You can view the images that have been saved to the memory card in the camera.

Displaying Images Individually

1.  Turn the camera on, and set the mode switch to .
  • The last recorded image appears (single image replay) on the LCD screen.

2. Move between images using the or button.
  • Use the button to move to the previous image and the button to move to the next.
  • Holding the or button advances the images more rapidly, but shows them less clearly.


  • Press the <DISP.> button to show the data for the displayed image.
  • Press the button to delete the displayed image.

Magnifying Images

Images can be magnified up to approximately 10 times.

1.  Turn the camera on, and set the mode switch to .
  • The last recorded image appears (single image replay) on the LCD screen.

2. Move between images using the or button.
  • Use the button to move to the previous image and the button to move to the next.
  • Holding the or button advances the images more rapidly, but shows them less clearly.

3.  Press the zoom lever toward .
  • will display, and a magnified portion of the image will display.
  • Images can be magnified up to a factor of approximately 10x.
4.  Use the , , or button to move around the image.
  • If you press the <FUNC./SET> button while in magnified display, the camera switches to image advance mode and will display. You can use the or button to advance to the next or previous image at the same level of magnification. The image advance mode is cancelled when you press the <FUNC./SET> button again.

You can change the magnification level with the zoom lever.

Canceling the Magnified Display

1. Press the zoom lever toward  .

  • (You can also cancel it immediately by pressing the <MENU> button.)


  • Movie frames and index replayed images cannot be magnified.


  • You can magnify an image while it is displayed on the LCD monitor in Shooting mode immediately after the image is shot.

  Viewing Images in Sets of Nine (Index Replay)

Up to nine images can be viewed at once in index replay.

1.  Turn the camera on, and set the mode switch to .
  • The last recorded image appears (single image replay) on the LCD screen.

2. Move between images using the or button.
  • Use the button to move to the previous image and the button to move to the next.
  • Holding the or button advances the images more rapidly, but shows them less clearly.

3.  Move the zoom lever toward .
  • Nine images appear at once (index replay).
  • Use the , , or button to change the image selection.

4.  To switch between sets of nine images, use the JUMP function, explained below.
5.  Move the zoom lever toward to cancel Index replay.
  • The display reverts to single image replay.

JUMP - Jumping Between Images

The display can be advanced or set back 9 images in either single image replay or index replay.

1.  Turn the camera on, and set the mode switch to .

2. Move between images using the or button.
  • Use the button to move to the previous image and the button to move to the next.
  • Holding the or button advances the images more rapidly, but shows them less clearly.

3. To display the JUMP bar:
  • Move the zoom lever twice toward while in Single replay.
  • Move the zoom lever once toward while in Index replay.
4.  The displayed image(s) change. Jump 9 images behind or ahead using the or button respectively.

5.  Moving the zoom lever toward with the Jump bar displayed:

  • The jump bar disappears and the camera returns to index replay.
  • If you press the zoom lever once more toward , the camera returns to single replay.
