Installing the software on Windows 8 (MF4150)

Description

Instructions for installing the software after it has been downloaded.

Solution

Once the driver has been downloaded follow the instructions below to install the software.

Note
Do not plug the USB cable in until after the software installation is complete.

1. Locate the download file. The default location is in the Downloads folder.

  • 32 bit download file name - "MF4150_MFDrivers_W32_us_EN.exe"
  • 64 bit download file name - "MF4150_MFDrivers_W64_us_EN.exe"

2. Double click the file it will extract to a folder in the same location, with the same name.

 

3. Double click on the folder that was created.

4. Double click on the Setup application file.

 

The installation will begin.

5. Click [Next].

 

6. Click [Yes].

 

8. Click [Exit].

 

9. Connect the USB cable.

Installation is complete.
