Mode Switch
Use the mode switch to select a shooting function.
Below describes the options available on the mode switch.

Camera
|
Shoots still images and allows you to select shooting modes. |

Special Scene
|
Allows you to select between 11 selectable Scene Modes. |

Movie
|
Shoots movies with sound. |
To Play Back Images (Playback Mode)
Press the 
(Playback) button to review images.

Playback
|
- Play back or delete images from the SD card
- The lens retracts approximately 1 minute after the mode dial is turned from a shooting mode to playback mode.
- When a printer is connected, images can be printed.
- When a camera is connected, recorded images can be downloaded to and viewed with a computer.

 When a printer is properly connected, the  ,  or  icon appears on the LCD monitor. |
