If you experience a 6901 or 6910 error, disabling IPv6 on your printer may prevent this error from reoccurring. To disable IPv6, please follow the steps below.
From the HOME screen, tap Setup.
Tap Device settings.
Tap LAN settings.
Tap Other settings.
Tap TCP/IP settings.
Tap IPv6.
You will receive a prompt indicating that LAN communication may be disabled depending on your environment. Tap Yes.
Tap Enable/disable IPv6.
Tap Disable.
After a few moments, you will see a confirmation indicating that IPv6 has been disabled on the printer.
The printer will then return to the IPv6 settings menu. Press the HOME button on the printer to return to the HOME screen.
