How to set up your PRO-Series printer to print wireless

Follow the procedure below to setup a printer to print using a wireless connection.

Solution

This is important!
If a device is connected to the Internet via a wireless router, and you then connect it to a printer in Wireless Direct mode, the existing connection between the device and wireless router will be disabled. In that case, the connection of the device may switch to a mobile data connection automatically depending on your device. When you connect to the Internet using a mobile data connection, charges may apply depending on your contract.
 
  1. If Home button is displayed on the left side of the screen, tap Home button to display the following screen.

    If an error screen appears, tap OK, and then tap Home button.

     
  2. FLick the screen up or down, then tap LAN settings.

  3. Tap Wi-Fi.

  4. Tap Settings.

  5. Tap Wi-Fi setup.

  6. Tap Easy wireless connect.
    Select Easy wireless connect

     
  7. Tap OK.
    Select Easy wireless connect

     
  8. When the printer preparation is complete, the screen below appears.
    Follow the instructions on your computer or smartphone

     
  9. Return to the application software and proceed with the setup.
