The camera automatically sets the aperture and shutter speed according to the brightness values of the main subject and background measured using evaluative metering
- If the main subject is not positioned in the center of the viewfinder frame, we recommend using partial metering with AE Lock

Set the shutter dial and aperture dial to "A"
Look through the viewfinders and focus the subject
Press the shutter button halfway and check the viewfinders exposure display
Press the shutter button completely to take the picture
