Error on LCD: Memory Media Print/Scan is Restricted

Description

The function that prints or scans files in a USB memory device is disabled.

Solution

Follow the instructions below to enable the USB memory device functions.

1. Press Menu.

2. Select [Function Settings].

3. Select [Store/access Files].

4. Select [Memory Media Settings].
Enter the System manager ID and password then press [Login].
*Note the default settings for each is 7654321.

5. Select [On] in the appropriate setting.
  • [Use Scan Function] - Enables the scan to USB memory device.
  • [Use Print Function] - Enables the print from USB memory device.
6. Restart the machine.
