When using the ExtraKit and Mac OS 10.5 and with the registration of the Bonjour connection, when clicking the [Add] button, an error message may be displayed and unable to be added.

This occurs when following the procedure below:

1. Start [Preferences].

2. Select [Printer and Fax].

3. Click the [+] button.

4. Select [Default].

5. Click the [Add] button after selecting the applicable printer.

Then, the following message is displayed and cannot add a printer: "An error occurred while trying to add the selected printer". Error: -9672

[Solution]

This phenomenon does not occur under other connections such as IP, AppleTalk, and USB. Use these connections.
