Fixing Unit Error
If a fixing unit error is displayed, you need to request service.
Follow the procedure below, and then contact your local authorized Canon dealer or Canon's Contact Center at 1-800-OK-Canon to request service.
1. Turn the printer off, then disconnect the cables from the printer.
- Turn the printer off.
- If a USB cable is connected, turn the computer off, and then disconnect the USB cable from the printer.
- Unplug the power plug from the AC power outlet.
IMPORTANT
Do not turn on the printer again.
A fixing unit error is displayed. Do not turn on the printer after turning it off.
2. Contact your local authorized Canon dealer or Canon's Contact Center at 1-800-OK-Canon to request service.
