A variety of settings are available to suit your needs, for example, when you want to adjust density or enhance the clarity of an image.
Adjusting Resolution You can select the resolution suitable for your document type. The higher the resolution is, the clearer the image becomes, but the longer it takes to send.
 <200 x 100 dpi (Normal)>
Suitable for documents that contain text only.
 <200 x 200 dpi (Fine)>
Suitable for documents that contain fine text.
 <200 x 200 dpi (Photo)>
Suitable for documents that contain photographs.
 <200 x 400 dpi (Superfine)>
Achieves an even finer resolution than Fine.
 <400 x 400 dpi (Ultrafine)>
Achieves an even finer resolution than Superfine.
Adjusting Density You can adjust the density of the fax if the text or images in a document are too light or dark.

Adjusting Sharpness You can adjust sharpness of the image before sending. Increase the sharpness to sharpen blurred text and lines, or decrease the sharpness to improve the appearance of magazine photos.

Scanning 2-Sided Documents (MF729Cdw / MF726Cdw) The machine can automatically scan the front and back sides of documents in the feeder.
IMPORTANT
- Place the documents in the feeder; the machine cannot scan both sides of documents automatically when the documents are placed on the platen glass or when the machine is set to Manual Sending.
<Book Type>
Select for documents whose images on the front and back sides face the same direction.
<Calendar Type>
Select for documents whose images on the front and back sides face in opposite directions.
