If you experience a 6901 or 6910 error on your printer, disabling IPv6 may help resolve the error.
Solution
If you experience a 6901 or 6910 error on your printer, disabling IPv6 may help resolve the error. To disable IPv6, follow the steps below.
From the
HOME
screen, press the
MENU
button, then use the arrows to scroll over to the
Setup
icon. Press
OK
.
Press the left arrow to select
Device settings
. Press
OK
.
Use the down arrow to select
LAN settings
. Press
OK
.
Use the down arrow to select
Other settings
. Press
OK
.
Use the down arrow to select
TCP/IP settings
. Press
OK
.
Use the down arrow to select
IPv6
. Press
OK
.
Use the up arrow to select
Yes
. Press
OK
.
Enable/disable IPv6
will be selected. Press
OK
.
Tap
Disable
.
After a few moments, a confirmation will appear. This indicates that IPv6 has been disabled.
If you want to enable IPv6, follow the steps above, but select
Enable
in step 8.
