Solution

Setting the Scanner Stand (LiDE 500F)

  1. Turn the scanner upside down.


     
  2. Lift the stand on the scanner back in the direction of arrow (1) and then arrow (2).





     
  3. Place the stand's end around the front side of the scanner [arrow (3)].







     
  4. Push to the direction of arrow (4) until the marks align.



     
  5. Slowly turn the scanner over and set it upright on the stand in position.
