To uninstall the scanner driver using the CD-ROM supplied with the scanner, follow the procedure below.

Uninstalling the driver using the CanoScan Setup CD-ROM
Note: The screenshots below use the D1230UF / D2400UF as an example.

The procedure to uninstall the driver for the CanoScan D2400UF is used here as an example. This procedure may not apply to some models.

1. Insert the CanoScan setup CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.

2. Select [Uninstall the Software] from the menu.

3. When the window below appears, follow the on-screen instructions, and click [Yes].

4. Select [Uninstall ScanGear CS-U].

5. When a delete confirmation window appears, click [Yes].

6. Click [Next]. Select CanoScan D2400U and remove it from the [Scanner and Camera Properties] dialog box.

7. Restart your computer.
