Changing the Image Resolution (PowerShot G7X)

Solution

You can choose from 4 levels of image resolution.
*It may not be possible to change the image resolution depending on the shooting mode. For a list of shooting modes in which the image resolution can be changed, please refer to the table at the end of the page.

The procedure for changing the image resolution is explained below.

1. Press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.

2. Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.

3. The following screen appears.


Press the <><> buttons to choose [Resolution] in the menu.
Press the < ><> buttons or turn the <> dial to choose the desired option.
Press the < FUNC./SET> () button to configure the setting.

The resolution can be changed in the shooting modes shown in the table below.
