Close Scanning Unit

Close the scanning unit (also referred to as printer cover) prior to printing or scanning.

1. After removing a paper jam or replacing an ink cartridge, lift up slightly on the scanning unit to set the scanning unit support <1> back to its original position.
   
   
   
   
2. Hold the scanning unit (printer cover) while gently lowering it to close the cover.
   
   
3. If the message does not clear after closing the scanning unit, press the <ON/OFF> button to power the printer off and back on again.
