USB Setup - Mac OS X Computers

The instructions /  screenshots  below show the setup method whereby a USB cable is connected to the printer and computer.

To begin the setup, first download the setup file

Read the information taking note of the information concerning warning messages that may appear during setup then click the "Download" button.

 

1. Start setup.  Click Next on the first screen.

    

   
   
    
2. Enter your computer User Name and Password then select Install Helper.
   
   
   
   
    
3. Select Start Setup
   
   
   
   
    
4. Select appropriate region and click Next
   
   
   
   
    
5. Select Yes on the License Agreement.
   
   
   
   
    
6. Select Agree or Do Not Agree to the Survey.
   
   
   
   
    
7. Status check occurs
   
   
   
   
    
8. Select USB Connection on the Select Connection Method screen.  Click Next. 
   
   
   
   
    
9. Make sure the printer is powered on. Connect the printer to the computer with a USB cable. Click Next
   
   
10. Click Next
    
    
    
    
     
11. Setup complete.  Click Next
    
    
    
    
     
12. Select any optional application software* desired.  Click Next
    
    
    
    *Optional software may vary
     
13. Click Next
    
    
    
    
     
14. Click Next or Skip
    
    
     
15. Select whether or not to create a shortcut for the manual. Click Next
     
16. Click Exit.
