Solution

Jumping to Images

When you have many images recorded onto an SD card, it is handy to use the four search keys below to jump over images to find the object of your search.

Jump 10 Images

Jumps over 10 images at a time.

Jump 100 Images

Jumps over 100 images at a time.

Jump Shot Date

Jumps to the first image of each shooting date.

Jump to Movie

Jumps to a movie.

Jump to Folder

Displays the first image in each folder.
  1. In single image playback mode, press the () button.
    -
    The camera will switch to jump search mode.
    - The screen sample will vary slightly according to the search key.
    - You can show/hide image information using the <DISP.> button.



  2. Use the or button to select a filter; (10 images), (100 images), (Date), (Movie), or (Folder).

    -You can show/hide image information using the <DISP.> button.
  3. Display the images using or button.

  • / / : Use the or button to select Date, Folder, or Movie parameters you wish for playback and press the <FUNC./SET> button to display only the images for your selected option.
  • Pressing the <MENU> button will return you to single image display.

- The camera will switch to defined playback mode and playback only the images corresponding to the criteria set by the search key.

4. Viewing images using filter playback.

- If you press the <FUNC./SET> button, filter playback will start and a clock and a blue frame will appear.

- If you press the or buttons or turn the <Control Dial> the target images selected in the above step will display

- If you press the button, it will cancel the filter playback.


5. Jump by (10 images) and (100 images) Images.

- If you press the or buttons, you will jump to and display the image that is the selected number of images away.

- If you turn the <Control Dial>, you can switch images singly.

- Pressing the <MENU> button will return you to the single image display.

- Press the (Jump) button to cancel the defined playback mode.

To Return to Single Image Playback

Press the <MENU> button if you have not yet confirmed a selection to cancel Jump after a selection has been made press the (Jump) button to return to single image playback.

The defined playback mode will be canceled under the following circumstances.

- When classifying categories.

- When newly saving images with effects added using the My Colors function, and edited movies.

- When images are deleted using [Erase] from the (Play) menu.
