Solution

Using the Self-timer
1) Set the camera to self-timer mode

  • Press the button.
  • appears on the LCD panel
  • If you then press the button again, disappears and self-timer mode is cancelled
2) Compose the picture and press the shutter button
  • The self-timer lamp blinks and the shutter is released approximately 10 seconds later
  • To cancel the self-timer, press the button again
