Turn off [MAN/AUTO SWITCH]
Solution
[MAN/AUTO SWITCH]
By default, [MAN/AUTO SWITCH] is set [OFF]. If it was set [ON] and you want to change this setting or if you want to increase the time before the fax answers, follow these steps.
- Press <Additional Functions>.
- Press <Set>.
- Press < or > to select [RX SETTINGS].
- Press <Set>.
- Press < or > to select [MAN/AUTO SWITCH].
- Press <Set>.
- Press < or > to select [OFF].
- If [MAN/AUTO SWITCH] is [OFF] and you want to set it on, press < or > to select [ON].
- If you want to keep [MAN/AUTO SWITCH] set on but want to increase the time (in seconds) before the fax answers the call, press < or > to select the [F/T RING TIME] from 5 to 99 seconds.
- Press <Set>.
- Press <Stop/Reset> to return to standby mode.
