Precautions
- External Automatic Flash Control (AUTO) and Manual Flash Shooting are not possible when TTL Shoe Cord E is attached. (All switched on top of the flash stop functioning when TTL Shoe Cord E is attached.)
- During TTL automatic flash exposure control, it is impossible to use the Flash Exposure Confirmation Lamp (AUTO CHECK) to check the effective flash exposure control range in advance. Instead, use the TTL Auto Flash Exposure Control Coupling Range Charts above or make sure the Flash Exposure Confirmation Lamp lights for about 2 seconds immediately after taking the picture.
- Speedlite 480EG does not feature built-in flash exposure compensation. However, flash exposure compensation control is possible with some EOS cameras. Please refer to the camera's instruction manual for details.
- TTL Flash Cord E is compatible with Canon's TTL multiple flash accessories, including the TTL Hot Shoe Adapter and Off-Camera Shoe Adapter.
- Use of the Wide Panel 480EG-20 or Tele Panel 480EG-135 changes the effective TTL Automatic Flash Exposure Coupling range
